Download / print / copy protection bypasses in Drive

When sharing files in Google Drive, you can select to "Disable options to download, print, and copy". This feature is designed to discourage others from downloading, printing, or copying your content – but we don't consider it to be a security measure.

Conclusion

Due to the nature of the product, the file needs to be downloaded by the browser to render it, and there are multiple ways to access that content at a later point. As such, we are aware that some users may be able to bypass the download / print / copy protection in Drive. However, we don't consider this kind of bypass to be a security vulnerability.
