Ability to map email addresses to profile names

When you sign up for a Google account and create a profile, your profile name is displayed in multiple locations and we generally allow other users who already know your email address or phone number to view your profile name. This approach is explained in our Privacy Policy, which as of the latest revision of this article reads:

If other users already have your email address or other information that identifies you, we may show them your publicly visible Google Account information, such as your name and photo.

Conclusion

If you report locations that allow you to map email addresses or phone numbers to public profile information, we won't file a bug based on your report, as we don't judge this to be a security vulnerability.
